The Factory at Franklin

The Factory at Franklin is home to some of middle Tennessee’s most-loved local businesses and performance venues. Once a former stove factory, this historic property is now a top destination for shopping artisan goods, trying culinary delights, and watching great live entertainment. This is about 20-30 minutes from Broadway but one of our favorite places to go that is not "downtown"!

Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum

Located in downtown Nashville, the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum is a must-visit for music enthusiasts. Open daily from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, the museum offers a self-guided experience that typically takes about 1.5 to 2 hours. Admission is $31.95 for adults. Visitors can explore exhibits featuring legendary artists like Dolly Parton, George Jones, and Lainey Wilson, as well as the Grammy Museum Gallery. For a more in-depth experience, guided tours are available for $54.95 per adult. The museum is fully accessible and provides a range of amenities, including a gift shop and on-site dining options. Advance ticket purchase is recommended, especially during peak tourist seasons.

Grand Ole Opry

The Grand Ole Opry is a Nashville must-see for country music fans and newcomers alike. Known as the longest-running live radio show, it has hosted legends like Johnny Cash and Patsy Cline and continues to feature top country, bluegrass, and Americana artists. Guests can enjoy live shows on select nights or take daily backstage tours for a behind-the-scenes look at this historic venue. Convenient parking is available, and tickets should be purchased in advance. Whether you want to experience classic Nashville music or just soak in the history, the Grand Ole Opry offers a memorable and entertaining outing during your wedding weekend.

Tennessee Whiskey Tours

For the whiskey lovers, this tour is a perfect slice of Tennessee tradition. Departing from downtown Nashville, you’ll board a comfortable bus and travel into the heart of whiskey country — visiting the legendary Jack Daniel’s Distillery in Lynchburg (and/or the celebrated Uncle Nearest Distillery in Shelbyville) where you’ll enjoy a guided tour of the production process, a tasting of several specialty whiskies, and time to explore the historic surroundings. The tour gives you a mix of scenic countryside, craftsmanship, and Southern hospitality — while someone else drives! It’s ideal for a relaxed afternoon outing during your wedding‑week stay. Friendly tip: You’ll need to be 21+ with valid ID to participate. Dress comfortably for a bit of walking and bring a light jacket if the distillery tour includes outdoor elements.

The Gulch

Explore The Gulch – Food, Murals & More If you're looking for a fun, walkable area to explore while you're in town for the wedding, The Gulch is a must-visit Nashville neighborhood just south of downtown. Known for its modern vibe, trendy restaurants, iconic murals, and lively atmosphere, it's the perfect spot to grab brunch, enjoy dinner, or snap some Instagram-worthy photos. The Gulch is also home to some of Nashville’s most famous street art, including the “What Lifts You” wings mural by Kelsey Montague — a favorite photo-op for visitors.

Centennial Park

Just west of downtown, Centennial Park is one of Nashville’s most beautiful green spaces — and a great spot to relax during the wedding weekend. The park’s highlight is the full-scale replica of the Greek Parthenon (yes, really!), surrounded by peaceful walking trails, gardens, and a scenic lake.
