If you have any questions beyond what we've listed here please reach out to Hannah or Chris.
Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP by Saturday August 10, 2024.

Question

What is the venue like?

Answer

The wedding venue is a 100-acre plot of land outside of Victor. It is normally a private paid camping area, but we have rented the whole plot for the wedding. We will have all the amenities you'd expect (large reception tent with seating, portable restrooms, power, etc.), but we will be outdoors. Hannah and Chris will be staying at a tiny house on the property, and we expect several people to be camping overnight on the property after the wedding.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We want you to be comfortable at our outdoor wedding in the mountains. The dress code is mountain chic. Please wear shoes appropriate for walking over grass and gravel and bring warmer layers to add when the temperatures drop in the evening. For this time of year in the mountains, may we suggest the following attire: Women: sundresses, lightweight separates and flats or boots for the outdoor reception. Men: light dress shirt with khaki or other lightweight slacks; jackets and ties optional. Please, no athletic wear or jeans.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Our wedding is strictly RSVP only. We will only be able to accommodate those listed on your invitation.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

This is an adult only occasion so please plan ahead. The only kids in attendance will be those in the wedding party.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Parking at the venue is limited and requires a high clearance vehicle so please try to carpool! If you are concerned about parking or transport, reach out to Hannah or Chris.

Question

Can I camp with you at the venue?

Answer

Yes! Let us know if you plan to camp at the venue after the reception so we share the details and save a spot for you.

Question

What if I don't want to camp?

Answer

The closest town is Cripple Creek, about 15 minutes away. We'll have a shuttle to take guests back and forth from the venue. See the "Travel" section of this site for hotel recommendations. If you'd like to stay closer to Denver, Colorado Springs is about an hour away.
