Travel Note
For guests traveling in, there are several airport options depending on your location and flight availability. Our Georgia home is located in Donalsonville, making the following airports the most convenient: Closest Airport: • Dothan Regional Airport (DHN) – About 45 minutes from our wedding venue, Tahoma Plantation, and 20 minutes from our hotel blocks in Dothan, AL. This is the closest airport, but flight options can be limited and may require connections through larger hubs. Other Nearby Options: • Tallahassee International Airport (TLH) – About 1 hour and 45 minutes from our wedding venue, Tahoma Plantation, and two hours from our hotel blocks in Dothan, AL. A convenient regional airport with more flight options than Dothan. • Southwest Georgia Regional Airport (ABY) – About 1 hour and 15 minutes from our wedding venue, Tahoma Plantation, and 1.5 hours from our hotel blocks in Dothan, AL. Another great regional option that many guests have found easy to travel through. • Hartsfield–Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL) – About 3 hours from both our wedding venue, Tahoma Plantation, and hotel blocks in Dothan, AL. This is the largest airport in the region and typically offers the most flight availability and best pricing. If you’re able, we recommend checking multiple airports to find the best combination of convenience and cost. Uber, Lyft, and similar rideshare services are available in the Dothan area. However, renting a car will be the easiest way to travel from the airport to the wedding events.
