Are kids allowed?

Answer

While we love your kids and wish we could accommodate them, this is an adults only wedding & reception. Thank you for understanding. Often times hotels offer babysitting services so we recommend you look into that if you are travelling with children.

What time should I arrive?

Answer

Please arrive at 6:45 pm on Friday, July 6th. This is the time the doors open and that will give you time to get seated before the ceremony begins at 7 pm.

What entrance do I use?

Answer

Please use the Dartmouth Street Entrance, Copley Square. The address you'll find online is for Bolyston St. but just ask your cab to drop you off at the Dartmouth St entrance.

What is the dress code suggestion?

Answer

The dress code is formal but not black tie. Men can feel free to wear a suit and tie and women can wear a long or cocktail length dress.

Where do I park during the wedding?

Answer

The Back Bay Garage (http://www.backbaygarage.com/) The entrance is located at 199 Clarendon Street. The library can validate parking for guests at a rate of $8.00 per car (vouchers will be available at the bar and from event managers at the wedding), however, this does NOT include overnight parking! (This parking rate starts at 5pm) Other ways we recommend to get there are; take a cab, Uber/Lyft, subway or stay at a hotel within walking distance.

Where do you recommend parking overnight?

Answer

You can park at the hotel or there are some cheaper options nearby. One parking lot is right around the corner from the Marriot Copley and has cheaper rates. The address is: 116 Huntington Ave and the entrance is on Garrison St.

What if it rains?

Answer

The wedding will be moved inside if it rains and staff will direct you where to go. If the weather is agreeable the plan is to have the wedding ceremony and cocktail hour in the outdoor courtyard so if it's chilly bring something to cover up in. The reception will be inside so that will not be affected.

What are the menu options?

Answer

There are three options. Please initial next to your choice of Chicken, Fish or Veg on your RSVP card so we know which dinner each person has chosen. Thanks! Options: Roasted Chicken Spring Pea and Ricotta Agnolotti Fava Beans, Morels and Asparagus, Lemon Crème or Miso-Roasted Cod Seared Jasmine Rice, Roasted Maitake Mushrooms, Baby Carrots Pickled Ginger Vinaigrette or Spring Pea and Mascarpone Agnolotti Baby Carrots, Asparagus, Pea Tendril Salad Parmesan Cream

Can I smoke in the courtyard or out front?

Answer

Sorry but you can't, it's not allowed anywhere on library property.
