A discounted block of rooms is available for wedding guests (while availability lasts). All of the rooms are Oceanfront Suites with a bedroom (either 2 Double beds or 1 King), 1 and a half baths, living room with a kitchenette, sleeper sofa, dining room table, and private Oceanfront balcony. The discounted rate is $219 plus tax for Friday & Saturday and $149 plus tax for any night Sunday – Thursday. Once the block is full, the room rate is $249 plus tax. Flight
Wilmington International Airport (ILM)
The Wilmington airport is about 20-25 minutes from Shell Island Resort in Wrightsville Beach. Delta and American Airlines have daily direct flights from LGA and EWR. Avelo Airlines also just added new daily direct routes from DC and Orlando and New Haven, CT. You can uber from the airport to the hotel or there are rental cars available at the airport. Parking is available at the resort for $7/day. Alternative airport options include Myrtle Beach International Airport (about 1.5 hours away) and Raleigh Airport (2 hours).
