We're getting married!

Matt and Nicole’s love story began in the winter of 2020 when they matched on Bumble in Chicago. Just a week before Christmas, they met for the first time in a cozy Logan Square bar—Nicole with her wine, Matt with his Miller Lite. It didn’t take long for Matt to realize Nicole was not a beer girl. Outside, a light snowfall set the scene—straight out of a rom-com. From the start, they bonded over shared interests, endless laughter, and a mutual love for good conversation. By February, Matt was fully immersed in Nicole’s world, meeting all her friends and family for her 30th birthday. While it may have been a bit overwhelming (Matt, we see you!), they were grateful for the timing—because shortly after, the world shut down. Navigating life through COVID-19 brought them even closer, deepening their connection in ways they never expected. Over the years, they’ve loved trying new restaurants around Avondale, spending time with their many nieces and nephews, and traveling to new places together. Now, they’re beyond excited to start this next chapter as husband and wife—and can’t wait to celebrate with you!
