Stay in one of the reserved rooms at the Casa Ojai Inn or an airbnb near Downtown Ojai. There are plenty of options for hotels in the area, but are quite pricey. If you can't find anything in Ojai, Ventura and other surrounding areas are also a good option, just a longer drive over.
The weather in October is gorgeous, it's not too hot but not too cold. The temperatures definitely drop at night. So pack for fall weather and have layers prepared! Also there are various events that you can dress more semi formal or very casual, just wear whatever you feel good in- this is also your moment for a glowup if you want it ;) There are also gorgeous hikes and trails around, so if that is your jam, bring hiking/walking attire.
Of course! However, unless you both were invited to either the ceremony (private) and or the reception (semi private), then those are the only two events your plus 1 will have to sit out on. Every other event during that weekend however we would love to celebrate with your boo.
A mix of both. The welcoming party will be in a backyard with heating lamps, the ceremony is fully outside, the reception is in the patio/dining room, and the big day party is outside at a park. If there is any chance of rain that day (manifest that it won't), the Latinos will bring out the blue tarps.
