Forty minutes to an hour. Therefore, a shuttle or taxi will be needed.
Passport is required for travel. Typically, processing a new passport takes up to a couple of months, but also depends on the time of year as well. The best suggestion is to look into completing this task as soon as possible. All of the most up to date information can be found at travel.state.gov. or your local post office.
Average Weather in December, the daily high temperatures are around 82°F.
Mexico's official currency is the peso. Although the peso is the main currency, American dollars are accepted in many areas. 18-19 pesos is equivalent to 1 US dollar. Our suggestion is to bring small bills for tips and souvenirs. 1’s, 5’s, and 10’s, these are much easier to get change back.
You'll want to bring a bundle of 1's and 5's with for tipping around the resort. Gratuities are technically included with your travel package. Based on our travel experience, you'll want to tip something to the bartenders and waiters taking care of you. Remember this is optional. Tours, excursions and spa treatments are not included. You can pay with cash or credit card for these at the hotel. All liquor is included unless you order a full bottle of a specific liquor. This will cost extra.
Contact providers to let them know travel plans to avoid declines and high data fees.
