7:00 pm - 10:00 pm
Casual attire
Please join us at the local pub after we wrap up our rehearsal dinner. Food and drink will be available for purchase. This is a casual event for those looking to get together with friends and family. We plan on mingling in the large outdoor space and enjoying the live music inside. We don't have a reservation, but there should be plenty of room for those who want to join. The restaurant also takes dining reservations and comes highly recommended. Give us your best guess at your attendance so we can estimate how many people to expect. However, you aren't committed to your response. We hope you can join us either way!
4:00 pm - 11:00 pm
Semi-formal or cocktail attire
The main event! Our venue is located directly on the San Diego Bay, facing the impressive San Diego skyline and beautiful mountain scenery. The celebration will take place both outdoors and indoors. We recommend bringing a light jacket as San Diego nights can get chilly near the water. Parking is available, but we highly recommend using a taxi or uber to travel to the venue if you plan on drinking. At the end of the night, we will provide a shuttle service to the after party and back to the following hotels: Glorietta Bay Inn, El Cordova Hotel, and Cherokee Lodge. Most other hotels within the Coronado Village are within a short walk of these stops.
Sat, Oct 14, 2023, 11:00 pm - Sun, Oct 15, 2023, 2:00 am
Don't let the party stop! We plan on gathering at this dive bar after the reception. You can either take the shuttle straight from the reception to this bar or meet us here after you change at your hotel. Give us your best guess at your attendance so we can estimate how many people to expect. However, you aren't committed to your response. We hope you can join us either way!
11:00 am - 2:00 pm
Casual/beach attire
Join us for a BBQ in the park to celebrate the prior day's festivities all over again! Kayaks and paddle boards will be available for use. The park is walkable from the Coronado Village and is directly across the street from the main Coronado beach. We will be providing a catered meal for the event consisting of tacos / Mexican food from a local restaurant that will include some vegetarian options as well as standard taco fare. We will provide beverages in the form of waters and sodas. The park has a no alcohol policy, so this will be BYOB if you decide to go that route. Please keep drinks in koozies or other containers as to not make it obvious if you are having a beer, seltzer, etc as the whole group may risk getting fined if the rangers want to be a pain. For those who are local, you may want to bring beach chairs if you plan on driving to the park. There is limited seating available. We will do our best to gather more chairs for the group as well.
