How We Met.

February.28.2017

Nate and I were truly meant to be. We have lived our lives within minutes of each other without even knowing it. Nate would vacation in Wisconsin with family and I spent summers with my dad in California until moving out there in 2010 with Katie, my best friend. We attended concerts and frequented the same hangouts for many years both in Wisconsin and in California. Lucky for us a dating app helped connect the two of us. Good ole Tinder brought us together. After weeks of messaging back and forth, we had our very first date on February 28, 2017. I drove to Waukesha to Nate's apartment because we both hated walking in to places and trying to find the person you were meeting. I do not think either of us have been more nervous in our lives. We then drove together to Sporties and spent hours together talking all about our lives, eating mozzarella sticks with jalapeno ranch, and drinking beer. We both knew after that date that we were soulmates. Never have we felt more comfortable with another person or had more fun doing anything than we do together. From that day forward, we have been inseparable.

The Proposal.

January.17.2019

In January we took a trip to Ireland. Starting in Dublin we adventured all around Ireland making stops at different Air B&B's along the way. Nate graciously drove us as I was far too scared to drive on the tiny roads or on the opposite side. He was amazing! On January 17th we were on our way to our adorable downtown Killarney apartment when Nate suggested we stop at the Torc Waterfall, before venturing to downtown. The bright green forest was something out of a fairy tale. We got out of our car and started hiking to the waterfall. You could hear the rushing waters the entire walk up. It was magical. I was in awe of the beauty around me when Nate got down on one knee (in the mud) and asked me to be his wife and spend forever with him. I said, "Yes!" right away! We shared a moment that was exactly what I could have imagined since I was a little girl. Without my knowledge Nate spoke to a guy walking behind us up to the waterfall and told him what was happening. He recorded the whole thing and took photos of us. It was perfect in every way.
