Q: What’s the dress code?
Answer
A: The ceremony and reception are outdoors, so please dress comfortably for the weather! Think summer evening—cool, casual, and a little rustic. Sundresses, polos, and comfy shoes are perfect. Leave the heels and suits at home!

Q: Will the ceremony and reception be outside?
Answer
A: Yes! Both the ceremony and reception will be held outdoors. There will be seating, shade, and lots of fun—just keep the weather in mind when choosing your outfit.

Q: Can I bring my kids?
Answer
A: Of course! This is a family-friendly celebration and we’ll have plenty of space for everyone to enjoy—plus lawn games and s’mores to keep the fun going.

Q: Is there parking available?
Answer
A: Yes, we’ll have designated parking at the venue, but keep in mind this is a small location so we encourage carpooling as people are able. Signs will be posted and we may be able to have someone assist with finding spots to park. We also encourage people to drop off additional guests closer to the ceremony site and then park their cars. It may be a bit of a (mostly flat) walk to the ceremony and reception area as the venue is small.

Q: What time should I arrive?
Answer
A: The ceremony starts at 6:00pm so we recommend arriving 15–30 minutes early to park, get settled, and enjoy the setting.

Q: What’s the weather plan?
Answer
A: We’re hoping for sunshine, but in case of rain, we’ll have covered areas and some indoor options nearby. Either way, come ready to celebrate!

Q: Are you registered anywhere?
Answer
A: Instead of traditional gifts, we’re inviting guests to contribute to our honeymoon and home fund. If you feel moved to give, you can find the link on our website above.

Q: What happens after the ceremony?
Answer
A: We’ll head straight into the reception with good food, yard games, music, and s’mores by the fire. Expect laughter and memories made under the stars.

Q: Will there be food and drinks?
Answer
A: Absolutely! We'll have a casual, delicious dinner build-your-own-salad spread and plenty of refreshing drinks (both adult and kid-friendly).

Q: Can I take photos or post on social media?
Answer
A: Please feel free to capture memories, but we do ask that you do not get in the way of our photographer. After that—snap away and tag us! Also use the hashtag #burchplease so we can easily search the photos!

What types of Food and Drink will there be?
Answer
The wedding reception will have a salad bar and sandwiches as well as some appetizers for your enjoyment. In addition to the Wedding cake and Groom's cake, we will also provide a fun s'mores bar, where you can roast marshmallows over a fire and build your own twist on the traditional classic. For drinks, we will serve fruit punch (non-alcoholic) and a special sangria for adults. In addition, we will have water, tea, and different sodas (Coke, Coke-zero, Dr. Pepper, Sprite, and Pepsi). If you would like to have additional beverages (of either adult or child friendly variety), you are welcome to bring your own.
