Beautiful places to visit include, Virginia Safari Park, Blue Ridge Mountains- on Glasgow Hwy 501, which stretches from Glasgow to Buena Vista (the best place to view the mountains!), and Downtown Lexington (There are cute coffee shops, lunch/dinner places, shopping and historic tours). The downtown area is very walkable.
