We met in a theater by chance, our chosen seats were right next to each other in a completely full movie to see Hereditary. Throughout the movie, we kept giving each other quick glances until I had the courage to ask Taylor for her number. A few days later we went on our first date. We hit it off instantly, it was almost like a fever dream, I had finally met someone who I felt was my soulmate, someone who I shared the most commonalities with. Taylor will always be my best friend and my partner for life, I will always be grateful for choosing to attend that late night showing back in 2018. The Day We Met (Taylor’s Version): The story of how we met feels like something that you would watch in a movie or read about in a book. On a summer night in 2018 , we met during a horror movie. We ended up sitting next to each other in a packed theater. Looks were exchanged from both sides. It truly was love at first sight. Erin slid her phone onto my lap and asked for my number. We met up a week later to watch the new Incredibles 2 movie and acted as if we had known each other for years. We became the best of friends and that friendship grew into love. The rest is history and our love continues to grow as the years go by and it's all thanks to that fateful Sunday in 2018.
