We met through Instagram in the most interesting way. A good friend of mine from college sent me a link to an Instagram account one day. She said,  "This is a NWA gal who believes in crazy ways of connecting people -- pretty fun!!" I went to check it out and low and behold, it was not your typical Instagram account. Every post was of someone single looking to meet others. I was immediately fascinated because this was nothing like the typical dating apps. When I came across Aaron's post, I was impressed and intrigued even more.  I passed my info to the author of the profile to send on to him honestly not not thinking much would come of it. I mean, it felt a little like Instagram Bachelor- ha! The next day, Aaron contacted me and we talked on the phone for about 2 hours. A few weeks later we had our first date!

I spent most of the day taking my neurology board certification exam. Later that afternoon, I got fancied up in a dress and heels for the celebratory dinner we had planned. I had no idea where we were going but Aaron asked me to bring an extra pair of comfy shoes because we would have a take a brief walk to get to the restaurant. He drove us to the East side of downtown Nashville and I changed shoes so we could walk across the pedestrian bridge towards a restaurant on the other side where I thought we were having dinner. Halfway across the bridge, we stopped to take in the view. While we were watching the sun set behind downtown Nashville, Aaron got down on one knee and asked me to marry him! Of course, I said, "Yes!" We then went back to car so we could have dinner at the restaurant where we had our first date - Henley. It was a perfect night!
