What is the attire?

Answer

Black tie optional. Tuxedo is optional, but full suit is requested for the gentlemen. Long gown, or optional cocktail dress for the ladies.

Is there transportation?

Answer

No- our ceremony and reception are at the same venue. Because many of our guests will be at the Omni Grove Park Inn and miscellaneous AirBnBs in the area, we will not provide transportation to and from the venue. If you are staying at an alternative hotel in the Asheville area, Uber is a great option!

The reception is at the Skyline Room at the Grove Park Inn, just a few short steps away from our ceremony and cocktail hour.

How much is an Uber from downtown Asheville/surrounding area to the Omni GPI?

Answer

Approximately $8-15 dollars (one-way) depending on the time of day.

Where is the closest airport?

Answer

Asheville has a regional airport (https://flyavl.com/), major airports (Philadelphia, LaGuardia, Altanta, Dallas, Chicago) all fly into AVL. Charlotte Douglas International Airport (CLT) is two hours away.

"I don't want to stay at the Grove Park Inn. Where should I stay?"

Answer

The city of Asheville requires attrition contracts for large party room blocks. For this reason, the only contracted wedding block is at the Grove Park. Other Hilton/Marriott options nearby! (828) 281-0041 From these hotel options, it is an approximate 10 minute drive / $8-14 dollar Uber to the Grove Park Inn. Air BnBs are incredibly popular and reasonably priced in the Asheville area!
