After spending two weeks strictly talking over the phone we went on our first date in February of 2020. We spent the morning talking and getting to know each other at Temple coffee, followed by a trip to Beers Books to browse before we made our way to Crocker Art Museum to pretend we knew anything about the art. We still talk about our first date to this day, we felt so comfortable with each other like we could talk for hours. I think we both knew that this was going to be so different than what we had both experienced in the past. We were so nervous and excited to see where our new friendship would lead!

After 3 years together and blending our two families into one, Sean proposed while we were on our vacation to Las Vegas in May 2023. Apparently this was a decision he had made a full year prior and was just waiting for the right moment! We were in our hotel room making plans for our afternoon. He handed me a small brown box. When I opened it there was a little gold egg inside that said "crack me". When I cracked it open I found a note that said "Will you marry me?" and of course my answer right away was YES! We were so content just being a family of 5 that I was not at all expecting it but I couldn't be more happy to spend my life with him! We can't wait to share this exciting time in our lives with everyone we love!
