We're Getting Married!

It was supposed to be a girls night for a good friends birthday. We were going to do drinks on the Reata Rooftop and dinner afterwards. My girls did a good job of making sure I was dressed nicely for the night, with little tips like "You should wear those shoes!" or "This top would look nice on you tonight!" I didn't suspect anything until we pulled up to Reata and I got into the elevator and the girls did not follow me. My roommate (Caroline) said "You have to go up by yourself". When the elevator opened on the rooftop John was standing there waiting for me all dressed up! He led me over to a cute area all set up with lights and mason jars where he said "I love you" for the first time (and a lot of other really sweet things)! I don't remember what I said because I was in shock and so happy, but John remembers me saying "HECK YES". We are so excited for marriage and are very thankful to God for the gift we have found in each other.
