We're Getting Married!

Beau and I first met in the most 2019 way possible—he liked my “To Be Honest” post on Instagram. Bold move? Maybe. Bolder move? Me replying with, “To be honest, I think you’re cute.” And just like that, the modern love story began. What started as harmless flirting turned into friendship, which quickly turned into competitive cornhole battles, late-night Chick-fil-A runs, and bonding over the thrill of turkey hunting (because nothing says romance like camo and gobblers). Somewhere between waffle fries and wild turkeys, we fell in love. And in true Beau fashion, he popped the question on the opening day of turkey season—because nothing says “forever” like love and a perfectly timed gobble in the background. Now here we are, planning a wedding—and it all started with a single Instagram like and a little bit of boldness.
