When Megan moved to Northern Virginia for teaching in 2016, she never imagined she would find love! I guess it is true, Virginia is for Lovers! Megan began working at Lemon Road Elementary School in Falls Church, VA. Hector had been working at Lemon Road as an assistant since 2015. As Megan settled in and began to make new friends, she connected with Hector during lunch with co-workers. As they got to know each other more, their friendship turned into romance in 2018. Miami/Ft. Lauderdale area is a special place for Megan and Hector. December 2018 was the first time they traveled together and witnessed the Miracle in Miami game. After this trip, they were excited to make more core memories together. They have traveled to California, El Salvador, Ohio, North Carolina and MANY trips to Pennsylvania. Now, they are creating a new core memory where the adventure started in Miami/Ft. Lauderdale June 21st, 2025 for their private wedding ceremony. ~To honor Hector's mom, Berta Caminos, Megan and Hector will be changing their last names to Caminos.~
