When do I need to RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP before the end of 2023. Any non response RSVPs will be considered declines since we will need a final head count to ensure all accommodations are made.

If I cannot attend the ceremony, can I give my seat to someone else?

Answer

No, please do not offer your ceremony seat to another person. Due to the limited amount of capacity, if you are not able to attend, please RSVP as soon as possible letting us know you cannot attend.

I see an RSVP for the dinner but not the wedding?

Answer

The ceremony has limited space. However, after several friends and family still want to be at the resort, we decided to host a dinner the night before. The dinner has a larger capacity, which is why you may have an RSVP option for the dinner but not the ceremony.

I do not see a place I can RSVP for the ceremony, can I still go to the wedding?

Answer

Due to the limited space for the ceremony, we only sent RSVPs to the amount of people we are allowed to have. Others are more than welcome to still stay at the resort and see us during the wedding week, but there would not be space at the ceremony.

Will there be a reception?

Answer

No, there will not be a reception in Hawaii. Due to the sunset ceremony and when the reception would have to end, we have decided to not have a reception after the wedding. We will instead treat the attendees to a dinner on Monday, May 13th at Monkeypod Kitchen. Please see the schedule for more details.

What will the dinner menu be?

Will drinks be included at the dinner?

Answer

No, alcohol will not be hosted. However, guests will be able to purchase their own alcohol.

Why is the dinner the night before the wedding?

Answer

The ceremony will be at 6pm to 7pm and we will have photos after at 7pm to 8pm. The restaurants in Aulani close at 8:30pm, due to this we decided to have the dinner the night before the wedding at Monkeypod.

Will there be any food at the ceremony?

Answer

At the ceremony there will be a cake for everyone to enjoy, but no other type of food. Please plan to eat before the ceremony to avoid being hungry :)

Will there be a reception at a later date?

Answer

We will most likely book a local venue at a later date to celebrate with family and friends who could not attend the wedding.

What is Spa Day with the Bride?

Answer

RSVPs have been sent to those who may like to attend a Spa day with the bride. RSVPs are to get a headcount to try and get times reserved around each other. Attendees would have to purchase their individual packages.

What is Golf with the Groom?

Answer

There is an Aulani Golf course and RSVPs were sent to those the groom thinks would want to attend. If you did not receive an RSVP but would like to attend, please message Brian.
