What is the dress code of the wedding?

Answer

The dress code is black tie optional. We encourage formal attire—tuxes or dark suits for men, and long dresses or elevated cocktail attire for women. Most importantly, wear something you feel great in and comfortable in for the summer weather.

Where should I stay?

Answer

We have reserved a room block at the Westfields Marriott Washington Dulles (approximately 30 minutes from the venue). There are also a number of charming Airbnb options near Middleburg for those who prefer to stay closer to the Red Fox Inn. We recommend booking early, as June is a popular time in the area.

Will transportation be provided to the Welcome Dinner and Wedding?

Answer

Yes, transportation will be provided to the Welcome Dinner at Girasole. A shuttle will load at the Westfields Marriott at 5 p.m. and depart at 5:15 p.m. An additional shuttle will load at the Red Fox Inn at 5:30 p.m. and depart at 5:45 p.m. On the day of the wedding, for guests staying at or near the Westfields Marriott Washington Dulles, shuttles will load at 3:15 p.m. and depart at 3:30 p.m. At the end of the evening, shuttles will load around 10:30 p.m. and depart for the Westfields Marriott. You will be able to indicate whether you plan to use transportation when you RSVP.

Should I plan to drive or take a rideshare?

Answer

If you’re staying at the Westfields Marriott Washington Dulles, we recommend using the provided shuttle transportation on the wedding day. For guests staying closer to Middleburg, rideshares are available but can be limited later in the evening. Planning transportation in advance is encouraged.

Is parking available at the venue?

Yes, parking will be available at the Red Fox Inn for those who choose to drive.

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Our ceremony will take place outdoors in the garden. Cocktail hour will follow under a tent on the terrace, with dinner inside the Inn. The reception will then move back outside under a tent for the remainder of the evening.

What should I know about footwear?

Answer

Because the ceremony will take place on grass, we recommend shoes that are comfortable for walking on uneven ground. Block heels, wedges, or flats are great options.

What time should I arrive?

Guests are encouraged to arrive 30 minutes before the ceremony to allow time to get settled.
