Not quite high school sweethearts, but certainly sweet since high school, Bukki and Ceej meet through Bukki's best friend and Ceej's sister Jennifer. Bukki and Jennifer were working on a school project and met up at her house. Passing by Ceej's room, the two poked their heads in to say hi, and 7th grade Ceej was playing Pokemon on his N64 with his knees poked up in his shirt, looking somewhat confused as to why there was a new girl in his room. Over time, Ceej became a regular part of the girls' friend group and would hang out regularly with Bukki, and they began to notice each other. They kept missing each other as one was in a relationship or the other went away to college, or some other complication. But they always noticed each other. And apparently, so did everyone else. Eventually, Bukki moved to the Austin area to make more room for herself, and Ceej eventually came out for a visit in the summer of 2017. Embers were kindled, and the two started texting and talking with more regularity. Bukki eventually got the nerve to return to Naples in February 2018 to get things figured out once and for all. After several days together, the two came out to each other with their feelings, and days were spent going back and forth with the logistics of how a relationship could work. In the end, it was understood to be inevitable. That visit began the rest of their lives together. Two years later, Ceej asked Bukki to marry together.

We waited long enough in life to get married, and a pandemic couldn't stop us! We had a stripped down ceremony that we streamed via Zoom. We decided since traveling as newlyweds was out, we might as well get our family started, so about a month after our first wedding anniversary, we welcomed our sweet baby who is now a 2 year old spit fire!
