When and where is the wedding?

Answer

Entry to the reception is strictly by invitation. We’re unable to accommodate additional guests, so only those with a valid invitation will have access to the reception venue. Thank you for understanding and helping us keep the celebration intimate. We're getting married on Saturday, December 19, 2026 in the beautiful city of Lusaka, Zambia! The ceremony will take place at Christ the King Catholic Church, followed by our reception at Princess Events and Hire. We can't wait to celebrate with you there!

What's happening over the weekend?

It's a two-day celebration! On Saturday the 19th we do the big thing i.e., ceremony and reception. On Sunday the 20th, we invite you to stay and join us for our traditional Ukulula & Umhlambiso ceremonies. We strongly encourage you to plan your travel around both days. It's a weekend you won't want to cut short!

What are the Ukulula & Umhlambiso ceremonies?

These are beautiful, deeply meaningful traditional ceremonies that honour our Zambian and Swazi roots. The Ukulula and Umhlambiso mark the formal blending of our two families, think of it as where culture, love, and community come together. For our guests traveling from afar, it's a truly special experience and a window into who we are and where we come from.

Is the reception adults-only?

Answer

Yes! While we adore your little ones, our reception is an adults-only celebration. We hope this gives you plenty of time to make arrangements, so you can come ready to eat, dance, and fully celebrate with us!

Can I bring a plus-one?

Answer

To keep things intimate and within our venue's capacity, we're keeping our guest list to not more than 200 guests. We're unfortunately unable to accommodate plus-ones unless they are specifically named on your formal invitation. Thank you so much for understanding, it truly means a lot!

Your love and presence mean the world to us.
