As some of you are aware, Anthony was once a bar-back at a dive-bar in Napa Valley called “The Green Door.” Well, on one fateful night, Marissa and some girlfriends stumbled into the bar for some cheap drinks and a laugh, and there he stood: a tall, dark and handsome man, sporting a red flannel and bitchin’ mullet… and Marissa was, well, was not interested. However, one of the gals sitting with her was! She asked if anyone at the table knew the mystery man behind the bar, and Marissa’s friend, Christina McCarty, jumped into action, telling the group about what a catch Anthony was. As she approached the bar, Christina informed Anthony that her friend at the table thought he was super cute and that he should come say hello when he has a minute. A few minutes later, Anthony comes over to the table and instead of approaching the gal who was obsessing over him, he approached Marissa! While flattered, Marissa knew that this would cause some drama, as the gal who liked him had a tendency to be a bit dramatic. As expected, she left in a dramatic fit, and Marissa and Anthony had a quick, yet sweet conversation. At the end of the night, clearly Anthony’s mullet was irresistible. Despite another girl unabashedly flirting with him, Marissa made sure to snag his phone number before leaving, and the rest is history!
