Andrus Ranch (the wedding venue) is located less than five miles from Lava Hot Springs, Idaho a bustling summer vacation spot. It has a quaint main street with hotels, pizza parlor, ice cream shop, restaurants, tube rentals for the river, and, of course, the famous hot springs. There is also an olympic sized swimming pool. It's a great place for a meal or a soak.
The local Lava Hot Springs 9 hole golf course is fully revamped and revitalized for the 2020 season! Local pro and family friend Randy Benglan runs the place and would be happy to help send people out on the links for a nice respite before or after the wedding.

Today it forms the center of downtown Salt Lake City and contains 40 acres of gardens, dining, historic sites, etc. Many of you will likely fly through SLC and so it might be an easy stop on your way in or out of town.
If you would like to make take the time while you are out west, there are some spectacular natural sites with a few hours drive, one of the big ones being Yellowstone National Park, a three hour drive from the ranch.
Jackson Hole is a lot of fun and Grand Teton National Park right next to it is spectacular. They are less than three hour drive from the ranch and very close to Yellowstone.
