After many unsuccessful first dates on Hinge, Delaney and Aaron turned to Bumble to try their luck. They matched and exchanged a few messages to make sure neither was a serial killer (or weird) before Aaron asked to meet at the Violet Hour. After trying on many outfits for Jenna's approval, Delaney boarded the Damen bus wearing a leather jacket that she would nervously refer to as "fly" during the date. Aaron on the other hand, told his friends he was not confident they would click but that it would be "the last first date he'll have for a while". It seems he was right for all the wrong reasons. The pair met outside and walked into the dimly lit and velvet shrouded room. After a 20 minute monologue of all her thoughts Delaney realized that she had not hardly let Aaron get a word in -- lucky for her, Aaron thought it was endearing that she had so much to say. As they finished their drinks and realized that the date was going well, the pair decided to make their was back towards Ravenswood where Delaney lived. After almost 2 miles of walking they sat on a bench at Horner Park and shared their first kiss. They parted ways with another date already scheduled. And the rest is history!
