We're getting married!

It all started the way most modern-day relationships begin… on Hinge—yes, the app that brought two people together who would otherwise have never crossed paths. Luckily, Brenda was in the 25-mile radius filter Cody applied on the app. Little did Cody and Brenda know, this little swipe would spark a journey filled with laughter, love, and a whole lot of peanut butter. Their first date was on February 11, 2023, at Crave Coffee Shop. It's a funny story because neither of them actually drinks coffee! Cody, ever the adventurer, tried to order a Chai Latte without cinnamon—a move that set the tone for many more quirky moments. After their date, Cody found himself at Target, buying a jar of peanut butter and bread—because, well, that's just who he is. And if you know Cody, you know peanut butter is basically its own food group. There was instant chemistry. But the magic wasn't just in the silly moments. What drew Cody to Brenda was her incredible kindness and how she can make him laugh in ways no one else can. And let’s not forget her nerdy obsession with psychology, which he finds totally endearing. For Brenda, it was Cody's patience and how he accepted all her quirks with open arms. His love made her feel like she was truly seen and adored in the most genuine way. For both, there wasn't one grand moment that confirmed they were "the one," but rather a collection of countless small moments filled with laughter, comfort, and genuine connection. They bond over watching trash TV (because who doesn’t love a good reality show binge?), and Disneyland is their (Brenda’s) happy place, where Cody proudly embraces the magic of it all because he knows how much it means to Brenda.
