Isle of Palms & Sullivan's Island Beaches
If you’re looking for a beach escape during your stay, Isle of Palms and/or Sullivan's Island are the perfect spots. These relaxed coastal communities offer beautiful beaches, oceanfront restaurants, and laid‑back atmospheres. They are both great for spending the day in the sun, enjoying waterfront cocktails, or unwinding between wedding events.
Mount Pleasant
Just across the bridge from downtown, Mount Pleasant offers a mix of waterfront views, great restaurants, and easy access to the wedding venue. It’s a convenient area to explore, with parks, scenic boardwalks, and plenty of spots to grab a bite or enjoy the water. A perfect choice if you want to stay close to the celebration while still having plenty to do nearby. We highly recommend the restaurants on Shem Creek!
Downtown Charleston
If you’re exploring downtown, a few spots are especially worth a visit: King Street – The heart of shopping, dining, and nightlife. Perfect for wandering, grabbing a cocktail, or finding great boutiques. The French Quarter – Historic charm, art galleries, cobblestone streets, and some of Charleston’s most iconic architecture. South of Broad – A beautiful residential area filled with historic homes, waterfront views, and famous landmarks like Rainbow Row and The Battery.
