Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

Semi-Formal/Formal Attire- suit and tie, button-up shirt and dress pants, cocktail dresses, floor length dresses, dressy separates or dressy jumpsuits. We kindly ask that guests avoid wearing white on our big day!

Are kids welcome?

Answer

No - we would like our special day to be an adults-only occasion. This includes invited guests over the age of 18. We hope you are still able to celebrate with us as well as understand if this changes your ability to do so.

How do I RSVP?

Answer

To RSVP, click the "RSVP" tab (which will become available after formal invitations have been sent) and type the name listed on your invite. If you are unable to attend, we would appreciate you letting us know as soon as possible. Any RSVP's received after the date marked on the invite will be marked as a "no" as we will be sending the final headcount shortly after the deadline.

Will the Ceremony and Reception be at the same location?

Answer

Yes! Both the ceremony and the reception will be held at Allure on the Lake in Chesterton, Indiana. The ceremony will take place outdoors next to the lake with the reception to follow indoors at the main building.

What's the weather looking like? Is there a Plan B?

Answer

In the Midwest, we can never be too sure. Prepare for a sunny August day, however, should it rain we have a back-up ceremony prepared indoors at the same location.
