Born and raised in Modesto, CA, Elisa went to college at George Fox University where she met Dacoda. Majoring in graphic design, art and creativity are big part of her life. She owns a home close to her family in Modesto with her two cats Edgar Allen Purr and Henri Meowtisse.

Born in Lake Arrowhead, CA, Dacoda and his family have lived in many interesting places. He and his sisters all went to George Fox University where he met Elisa. An avid video gamer, a genius punster, and a gentle soul, Dacoda was beloved by all of Elisa’s friends and family long before they started dating.

Katie and Elisa met in elementary school in 2002. They’ve kept in touch over the years and Elisa was Katie’s Maid of Honor in September 2024. She loves her dog Tessie, and can recite Taylor Swift with the best of them.
Aerial Wernecke

Aerial and Dacoda were introduced through mutual friends in 2017. Through their mutual love of memes and video games, the two quickly became great friends and confidants. Aerial’s girlfriend Cyndi is also in the bridal party. Aerial has a love for dinosaurs, SpongeBob, and cosplay.
Brittany Meister

Brittany and Elisa first met as coworkers at a local marketing company. Initially the two butt heads (Elisa is a little… quirky) but eventually found common ground and became great friends. Brittany loves the spooky and macabre, rides motorcycles with her husband Kenny, and has a variety of amazing hobbies.

With a whimsical sense of humor and a steady keel, Cyndi met Dacoda through her girlfriend Aerial. A paramedic by day and a gamer by night, Cyndi has become an amazing addition to the little circle we call family.
Kenny Meister

Kenny and Elisa met through (you guessed it) Kenny’s wife Brittany. Originally wary of the “weird girl from work” Kenny and Elisa bonded over pop music and great food. Kenny is in a gunslingers club, has played the same MMORPG since he was 13, and loves hard apple cider.
Garret Conour
Groomsman
Standing 6’ 7” and the officiant’s (Jessi Buck) other half, Garret met Dacoda in Portland in 2019. As regular board and card game nights occurred, Dacoda and Garret began to develop a friendship and appreciation for one another past the box of “my sister’s person.” Garret has a wide variety of talents and interests including programming concert light sequences and designing off-beat shirts and hats.
Jessi Buck
Officiant
Sister to Dacoda and long time friend of Elisa, she had been the first one to tell Dacoda “she’s out of your league” when the couple first met. A creative artist, Jessi hosted her first solo art show in 2024. She lives with her partner Garret and their two dogs in Portland, OR.
