Mount Severance

Mount Severance tops out at 1,693 feet and features terrific views. It can be accessed one half-mile south of the intersection between Route 74 and State Route 9 in Schroon Lake, NY. At 2.4 miles round trip, the hike can be done in less than two hours. It is easy-moderate in terms of difficulty and features views of Schroon Lake and Paradox Lake.
