Getting to Tepoztlán

Tepoztlán is about an hour to an hour and a half away from Mexico City. We highly recommend avoiding leaving during rush hour because traffic in CDMX is notoriously bad. It is nice to have a car in Tepoztlán but not necessary. The town is walkable for the most part and taxis are cheap and abundant. Some transportation options include: - Renting a car from the airport (beware that traffic in CDMX can be very bad and the drive outside the city is mountainous) - Taking a taxi or Uber from the airport or central CDMX (~$40-50) - Taking a bus (many options from central CDMX) - Hiring a car - more on this later Please let us know if you have any questions or need assistance with coordination. We may also arrange shuttles. Rome2Rio (linked) is a helpful site.

Enjoying Tepoztlán

While our formal celebrations will take place over Friday and Saturday, we recommend an additional night in Tepoztlán to enjoy the town. There's plenty to do, much to eat, and many ways to relax. We will be arriving earlier in the week and would love to show you around. Check out Katie's curated Tepoztlán list here:

Hotel

Posada del Tepozteco

3 Paraíso, Tepoztlán, Mor. 62520, Mexico

This is where we will be having our ceremony and reception. The hotel has 25 rooms, which we will be allocating, and are reserved for our event March 27-29. We're also recommending nearby hotels and Airbnbs, most within walking distance.
