To be considered part of our wedding group and to attend all events on the property, including the wedding itself, a 3-night minimum stay is required at Casa de Campo (1 night for residents of the Dominican Republic). A full schedule will be shared at a later date, but for travel planning purposes, please note that there will be a Welcome Party the night before the wedding on Thursday, November 19th, and a casual farewell beach day on Saturday, November 21st. The Bride & Groom will be arriving on Monday, November 16th, and departing on Sunday, November 22nd.
Unfortunately no. In order to attend the wedding events you must stay at Casa de Campo, as it is a private resort and will not allow outside visitors to enter - even for a wedding! If you have questions or concerns about the hotel stay requirements, please reach out to Natalie directly (buck.natalie@gmail.com or 917-693-8891).
In addition to a valid passport, the DR requires you complete an E-ticket Health Declaration Form. Your airline should prompt you to complete this form as a part of your check-in process but it can also be found here: https://eticket.migracion.gob.do/
Airport car transfers are included in the all-inclusive package pricing. Our travel agents will set up your airport transfers when you reserve your hotel room and will confirm the booking based on your provided travel details.
Because our wedding package is All-Inclusive, any food or drinks you consume at the resort outside of our wedding events are included in the price you pay for your accommodations. If you would like to bring small bills ($1s and $5s) for tipping service members, it is appreciated but not required. USD is widely accepted on the resort and you do not need to convert your money. Make sure to let your bank know you will be out of the country!
The Dominican Republic is warm and tropical, so be prepared for sunshine and 80°F (around 28°C) weather, and plan your clothing and hair products accordingly! The night time is comfortable and can see cooler temperatures, so a light sweater or jacket at dinner may be needed.
Welcome Party: White attire is encouraged! Beach-friendly shoes are a must. Wedding Ceremony & Reception: Formal wear is requested (long dresses for women and suits for men). Please choose footwear suitable for walking on cobblestone streets. Please keep in mind that bathing suits are not permitted at the restaurants within the resort without a coverup. For day to day wear at the resort, see here: https://www.casadecampo.com.do/blog/2018/07/28/what-to-wear-on-your-next-caribbean-vacation/
Yes! We will have bus shuttles available to take guests to and from our event venues throughout the weekend from the main hotel lobby. Shuttle times will be provided at a later date.
Upon checking in, each room will be given their own golf cart to get around. Alternatively you can request a shuttle from the hotel concierge. Consider bringing a tumbler with a lid on it and a mini speaker for your golf cart adventures! We recommend downloading the Casa de Campo mobile app as it includes a map so you can get familiar with the property: https://www.casadecampo.com.do/
We love your little ones but hope you understand our decision to make the wedding events children-free. We know many of you will make a vacation out of your trip and you are welcome to bring your children to stay at the resort with you, however we ask that you do not bring them to our wedding events. If you need child-care during your stay, Casa de Campo offers trusted nanny services through their resort concierge.
