Jen was shopping for groceries at her local Whole Foods. She was carrying a basket and it was full of groceries. The basket was overflowing, so she had to carry her watermelon under her arm. She was in a hurry, and rushed to the check out counter. As she was unloading her groceries from her basket, the watermelon slipped out from under her arm. The watermelon rolled away from her and kept going through other customers' legs until it landed at the feet of a man wearing vans and a Jacksonville Jaguars t-shirt. The man picked up the watermelon and handed it to Jen. When their eyes met, it was as if the world stopped. He introduced himself as Buck, asked Jen out on a date, and the rest is history <3 Just kidding. We met on a dating app and had our first blind date at a bar. HA.

Buck had been planning to propose to Jen for a very long time. He finally set the perfect date for when their lives would begin forever as The Maloys. As the day approached the weather turned south… pouring down rain. Buck was very disappointed but kept his spirits high. Buck arranged for Jen to go on a scavenger hunt that would give her the coordinates to her future fiancé. As the day progressed, the weather got worse. Buck walked 8 blocks in the pouring rain to his perfect spot, and Jen was quickly on her way to find him. As she arrived she met Buck on 6th Street in Atlantic Beach. Buck got on one knee and before he could ask Jen said yes! He carried her on his back in the pouring rain where they set out to begin their lives as one….
