Do you have a hotel block?

Answer

Yes, we have booked a hotel block with Homewood Suites by Hilton San Marcos! Please view the 'Travel' page for more information. Or you are welcome to call the hotel and book your room under 'Steen Wedding' for the discounted rate.

Will you have transportation available from the hotel?

Answer

Our hotel block at the Homewood Suites by Hilton is about five minutes from the venue. We recommend either driving yourself or you can order an Uber or Lyft to get to and from the hotel.

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Due to limited space, we are only able to accommodate those formally invited on your wedding invitation. If you receive a plus one, they will appear under your name when you RSVP.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

While we love your little ones, we have decided to keep our wedding an adults only event with the exception of a few younger family members. We kindly ask that you only bring those formally invited on your invitation. We hope you understand!

What is the dress code?

Answer

Daytime Attire - Our wedding will be taking place outdoors in the grass. We suggest sundresses and sandals or button-down shirts and pants. Please, no athletic wear.

What time should I arrive?

Answer

Please arrive no later than 4:30PM to allow time to park, enter the venue, and find a seat. Due to pathway layouts, all walkways leading to the ceremony will be closed at 4:55PM for the ceremony. The ceremony will begin promptly at 5:00PM. No late entry into the ceremony will be permitted.

Does the venue have parking?

Answer

Yes! There is plenty of complementary parking next to the venue. Parking attendants will be present to help direct you where to park.

Can I take pictures?

Answer

We kindly request that you enjoy this special moment presently with us and keep all cell phones or cameras put away during the ceremony. We have hired amazing photographers to capture every detail of the wedding and we will be sure to share the photos with you afterwards! After the ceremony, we would love for you to capture our special day!

Will there be a bar?

Answer

Of course! We will have an open bar available to our guests after the ceremony until the end of the night.
