Andrew & Brittany first met in September of 2014 when they were two ships passing in the night in Los Angeles. When Brittany moved back to Pennsylvania in December of 2015, she left Andrew her room in the Bedford Street house along with the spare furniture that wouldn't fit in her yellow Cavalier for the drive back east. On another timeline, that may have been the end of Andrew & Brittany's story. But enter a global pandemic and hours of group cross-country video gaming via Zoom to pass the time, and a connection was sparked. On a subsequent group trip to Big Bear, CA, Andrew & Brittany saw each other in person for the first time in over five years. By the end of Brittany's week in LA, they'd gone on their first date. By the end of the summer, Andrew flew to Philadelphia and asked Brittany to be his girlfriend. Over the next year-and-a-half, these two Pisces moons got to live out the romcom of their dreams as they dated long-distance, meeting in such tropical locales as Austin, Texas, Joshua Tree National Park, and EPCOT. They bonded over their shared love of family & history and their shared hatred of capitalism & crowds. On February 25, 2023, Andrew turned 33 and permanently relocated to Philadelphia in the same day, moving into his second home previously occupied by Brittany. By April, they adopted their beloved black cat, Poe. By July, they found out they were welcoming another son - the human kind. And on March 16, 2024, the precious Oslo Glenn Stuart, was born. (phew! they move quick sometimes!) Since March, Andrew & Brittany have learned how to navigate parenthood together and infinitely expanded the amount of love in their household with Ozzie. In July, on a trip to Wildwood, NJ, Andrew popped the question to Brittany during bayside family photos by saying, "Let's make this official," before celebrating with close friends, champagne, and toddler musical performances. Andrew & Brittany's goal is for their wedding weekend to feel like a celebration of the little family they've built together. They couldn't do that without the presence of their extended biological and chosen family.
Thank you to our dear friends Elliott Jenkins & Jasmine Lywen-Dill for the beautiful film photos they took during our engagement weekend. You'll see their work throughout our website, and we greatly appreciate their talent.
