FAQs

Question

How has Covid impacted your planning?

Answer

Presently, we are proceeding with all of our events. It is our goal to provide the best event possible after what has been an unprecedented year for everyone. In order to accomplish this, we kindly ask that if possible, all guests are vaccinated against Covid 19 prior to the wedding. If, due to reasons of equity or otherwise, you are unable to acquire a vaccine, we politely ask you adhere to quarantining practices prior to the wedding. This is especially true if you are traveling or are from out of state. The health and safety of our most vulnerable and elder family members is our primary concern, so we thank you for your support in ensuring their protection and safety!

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The Church ceremony begins promptly at 4 pm. Please be aware of New Jersey traffic and weekend rush hour.

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

As soon as possible following the arrival of your invitation. We are eager planners, and like to be as organized as possible through the most up to date data. Thank you in advance for your responses!

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

If your invite says "and guest," then yes! If not, we prefer if it were only you. We will do our best to seat people in the most purposeful way to ensure all guests have the most magical time!

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Black Tie Formal; however, gentlemen may wear suits in place of a tux. Additionally, ladies are kindly asked to wear a floor length dress or suit piece- we love the opportunity to dress up! Most importantly perhaps, is to bring your best pair of dancing shoes!

Question

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

There is not transportation from the Church to the Reception, however the cocktail hour and the reception are held at the same location as the wing of rooms we have reserved for family and friends. St. Joseph's is approximately a 5-7 minute drive to the cocktail hour and reception.

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

We have a silent vegetarian/gluten free option on our menu; please reach out if you have any concerns or special needs. We will do our best to do our due diligence.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Both St. Joseph's and the Wilshire Grand have parking available to guests. St Joseph's also offers additional on street parking if the church lot fills.
