We met online in November of our Sophomore year at college in St. Louis. Shortly after we started chatting in the app, we also discovered neither of us were from St. Louis when he said he was on his way to Panera (It is always Bread Co. to people in St. Louis). We found out that we had both grown up in the suburbs of Chicago. Our first date was at the St. Louis Zoo, followed by dinner at Felix’s Pizza Pub down the street. We continued to talk and decided to make things official on January 17th, 2020.

Weather was finally getting nice again, and we decided to plan a date to our favorite wineries on a weekend we both were off of work. We started at Montelle Winery doing a wine tasting, then made our way to Klondike Park where we frequently like to walk around the lake. We made it about halfway around the lake, then I started walking towards a bench to sit down. When I sat down and turned back towards the water, Sean was on one knee asking “Will you Marry me?” There was no hesitation in the answer to that question. We celebrated at the next winery with pizza and wine slushies, two of our favorite things.
