NO! Of course not! Ugh, this whole pandemic thing has put a huge wedge in our plans and unfortunately we need to keep our venue at half capacity. We're sending out invitations early with early RSVPs so that if spots open up we can fill them early! we are SO SORRY we can't invite everyone, we really wish we could <3 we love you all and appreciate your understanding.
No! Braden and I love going to open mics and watching performances while having a beer or two, so we thought it would be fun to integrate that love into our wedding! if you would like to perform, please sign up! but if not, that's also totally fine! speeches are also included in this hour so you can also gin up for a speech or give an impromptu speech at the end of the open mic after you get some liquid courage in ya!
So are we! If you're uncomfortable traveling, and then attending a large event, we TOTALLY understand! No pressure from us at all! we want everyone to feel safe and comfortable! We ask if you're uncomfortable or unable to make it that you let us know as early as possible so we can reach out to other people who would like to join us. We have about 150 people on the guest list and most of them are from out of Washington State. Our venue has an indoor portion but we intend on having most of the wedding be outside at half capacity. We will make sure to supply masks for anyone who wants them but at this point don't know whether we will require them during the wedding.
Yes! Braden and I think it would be a really fun tradition to choose a random recipe from our loved ones and make it once a week. so please feel free to bring or send one to us to add to our collection and please write and sign your name at the bottom. It would be incredibly special to us to have your writing down on paper. and then when we pull your recipe at random you can expect a call or text from us letting you know what we pulled and giving you a thank you! You can give us one or a a handful of recipes, we will be grateful regardless!
Yes! as of right now we are going to require either a negative PCR rest or a rapid test 72 hours before the wedding. We are doing this on the honor system and fully expect you not to lie about taking the test or your results before arriving. As of right now we will also require your temperature be taken when you arrive to our event. Masks may be required, we don't know that at this time. All of these requirements might change, it just depends on the climate of Covid-19 as we get closer to the wedding.
We FOR SURE will be requiring them for any unvaccinated individuals. We will not be checking Vax cards at the door, and will be doing this on honor system as well. As of right now, we do not know if we will require masks for vaccinated individuals, but we will update this as we get closer to the wedding date. we will for sure provide disposable masks regardless for anyone who wants or needs one. Just know that there is a chance we will require masks at the wedding, regardless of vaccination status. PS. if you have any issues with our Covid policies, we ask that you simply do not attend the event.
ABSOLUTELY! The reason why the registry isn't very large is because we have been living together three years and have acquired most of the usual things you buy for yourself living on your own. But all gifts are appreciated so so much and we are thankful for whatever you want to get us!
kind of? We unfortunately CANNOT have hard liquor served at our venue, but we will have wine, cider, beer, and champagne available to you that is already going to be paid for, however, please make sure to bring some cash to tip our wonderful bartender who will be serving the alcohol. There is a lake on premises so its very important that no one gets overserved at our wedding! We want everyone to stay safe for our special day!
You most definitely can! Whatever you're comfortable with! We will have an area for cards and gifts at the wedding <3
