Flight

Dallas Love Field

Dallas has two main airports, and the closest one to downtown is Dallas Love Field, which primarily serves Southwest Airlines. While this one is smaller, it's much easier to navigate than DFW airport (see note below), so it's worth it to see if Southwest has any good flights.

Flight

DFW International Airport

This is Dallas's largest airport, about a half hour drive from downtown Dallas as it's between both Dallas and Fort Worth. Be aware that this airport essentially functions as six different ones, each terminal being it's own building, linked by buses and trains. Unlike Love field, DFW does have an Orange Line train stop which will take you all the way in to downtown.

Travel Note

Getting Around Dallas

The Dallas - Fort Worth area is relatively spread out, and while most of the events of the wedding will be near downtown Dallas, it's best to know a few different ways to get around: - We'd highly recommend renting a car while you're in town; this is by far the easiest way to get around, and most lots in and around the city are about $10 per day to park. Also, be aware that many highways around the north side of town are tollways, most notably the PGBT and DNT. - Uber is an option at all times of day and night, but can get expensive, so plan accordingly. - DART and the TexRail System are helpful depending on where you plan to stay; these can take you many places around Dallas, including DFW Airport, and TexRail goes as far as Ft. Worth.
