Are children invited?

This will be a kids-free zone. We would love to celebrate with you, without someone being on mommy/daddy duty. It's an adult party and there won't be anything for the kids to do. Be advised, the venue does not provide highchairs.

What should I wear?

Answer

We suggest a black suit and tie, or a cocktail dress. A midi- or knee- length dress or dressy separates are also welcome. You have the option to algin with our color themes, dark blue (#0D3A5F) and a dark green (#013220). When in doubt, Black is a good option to our darker theme motif. No animal prints, No blue jeans, No Sneakers. No Cosplays.

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Both the Ceremony and the Reception will be indoors. The venue itself may be colder, so dress accordingly.

What time should I arrive for the ceremony?

Answer

5:30pm the earliest. Ceremony starts at 6pm, reception starts at 7pm.

If you feel inclined to give us a wedding gift, a contribution towards our new-home-fund would greatly help us start newlywed life off right.

How do I get to and from the wedding venue?

The Old Sugar Mill is located at 35265 Willow Ave, Clarksburg, CA 95612. When traveling to Sacramento Exit off Interstate 5, exit Westbound Cosumnes River Blvd. Turn left onto Freeport Blvd. Turn right onto Freeport bridge. Turn left onto S River Rd. in 3.2 miles, turn right onto Willow Point Rd. Turn left onto Willow Ave. Old Sugar Mill should be on your left. Park in the large parking lot.

Is there parking at the venue?

There are 55 spots in the main lot, 3 disabled parking, and a secondary lot north of the main lot. Please let us know if you require any assistance or any accommodations.

Can I take pictures with my phone?

Answer

Yes! We strongly advise guests to show us their perspective, especially with our POV app's shared photo album. This will includes selfies, memories, candid, and/or memes. Each person will have up to 25 pictures to take of their experience we'll get to share in 24 hours. Please be mindful of the wedding photographer as well.

Food allergies or dietary restrictions?

Most of our menu will be accompanied by several vegan options, including the desserts. There will be labeled food allergies with all catered food items.

We will discuss with the catering, but as of right now, it'll be with individual tabs. There will be complementary coffee and tea with desserts later in the evening.

Best time to offer gifts?

Answer

The most appropriate time to offer gifts would either be between now and November 22nd or within the week after. If you would like to offer your gift during the event, There will be a secure drop box, with personnel that will be available at the beginning of the reception (7:00pm) & a scheduled money dance during the reception to personally offer monetary gifts to the Bride and Groom for a brief dance.

What is a Money Dance?

Answer

Anyone is welcomed to offer monetary donations in exchange for a brief dance with either the Bride or Groom. Any amount is acceptable in paper form to be either pinned or draped to the Bride/Groom. (Clothes pins will be provided). There are Leis, Crowns, origami rings, sashes. Envelopes, checks or any non-bank note tenders will only be accepted electronically (venmo) or security box at the beginning of the reception (7:00pm)

What is next after marriage?

Answer

The next phase of our unity is to get a house together and begin the process of starting a family. We have talked about having children together for a while and it is an exciting next chapter.
