Question

What if I don't RSVP on time?

Answer

Please try to RSVP prior to Febuary 1st. If you do not RSVP by April 24, 2026, you will be marked as “not attending”. We would absolutely love celebrating with you, however, we have to provide an exact guest count to our vendors and cannot accept late RSVP’s. This unfortunately means that if you show up on the day, there will be no seating, food, or drink accommodations.

Question

What should I do if I cannot make it?

Answer

You will definitely be missed! If you cannot attend our wedding, please use the RSVP tab and click "Will not be attending" so we can plan accordingly. If you have already RSVP’d “Attending”, but find you will not be able to make it, Please send us an email as soon as you can to notify us.

Question

Can I bring a date/plus one?

Answer

Due to our limited budget and space, we are only able to accommodate those guests formally invited which should appear, by name, when going to the RSVP link. We are trying to keep the event as intimate as possible with good friends and family. Thank you for understanding. If you have any further questions, feel free to send us an email at elgavbrysa@gmail.com.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We want you to be comfortable at our wedding! The dress code is dressy casual. Keep in mind the ceremony and part of the reception space is outside in the Texas spring heat, so we want everyone feeling cool as possible! Folks who’d like to wear a dress, it is highly recommended to wear lightweight dresses of some nature and longer length dresses are preferred. The venue is not entirley heel-friendly, so flats, platforms, etc. are recommended. As well, please avoid all/mostly white dresses. Alternatively, it is recommended that men wear light dress shirts with khakis or other lightweight slacks; jackets and ties are optional and by no means required. Is it even recommended to bring a change of shirt if you feel it may be necessary. Please see the pinterest board attached for examples! (https://pin.it/1bIC9w5XP)

Question

I have a food allergy or dietary restriction. What should I do?

Answer

Please reach out to the bride/groom with any allergy or dietary related concerns/requests OR please reply to the online RSVP with the needed information!

Question

Is the wedding outdoors? What should I expect for Texas weather and how should I prepare?

Answer

As we are having a partially-outdoor wedding in the springtime, it will VERY LIKELY be between the 80s-90s. PLEASE, and it cannot be reiterated enough, come hydrated (water will of course also be provided) and please arrive having eaten earlier in the day. We want everyone safe and we do not want anyone passing out or getting hurt!! There will be air-conditioned spaces and ample shaded spaces as well.

Question

Are kids allowed?

Answer

Children are welcome at the ceremony and reception. Please indicate on the RSVP full names of your children so we can accommodate accordingly. Also please note that there will be alcohol present and the possibility of ‘lightly’ explicit music during the reception/cocktail hour. If your child has food allergies, please also let the bride or groom know as soon as possible. Please also feel free to make this a date night for the adults only if you would prefer!

Question

Can I take photos and videos during the ceremony?

Answer

We do not mind if you take any photos or videos, just keep it relatively minimal and your phones silent as we don’t want any disruptions during that time.

Question

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Yes, there will be an open bar with a pre-set amount of alcohol. Please plan accordingly and have a way to return home safely.

Question

When should I arrive?

Answer

Guests can begin to arrive at 4:00 PM. This will leave time for some initial hellos and getting settled before the ceremony.

Question

Is there parking?

Answer

Yes, there is ample parking onsite with shuttle service from the parking lots. Upon entering, there will be signage directing you where to go!

Question

Is the wedding ceremony religious?

Answer

The ceremony is of mixed faith. We want to respect everyone and their beliefs. There will be a mix of both Jewish and Catholic traditions woven into the ceremony. There will not be a religious service prior.
