We would recommend arriving approximately 30 minutes prior to the start of the ceremony to allow for time to park, walk or ride to the ceremony space and find a seat.
There will be golf carts provided and staffed by Zoo Knoxville staff members to assist in transporting any guests needing assistance.
As a guest you have the privilege of visiting Zoo Knoxville the day of the wedding. The zoo closes at 5 p.m., however, so you would need to visit prior to this, during the day. Upon arriving, simply tell the ticket window attendant that you are guests of the Theriot-Pruitt wedding and they will admit you to the Zoo. You will need to leave the Zoo by closing at 5 p.m. and return/re-enter as a guest of the wedding once the Zoo begins to allow guests to enter just after 5 p.m.
Guests may begin arriving when the Zoo closes to the public at 5 p.m. You will not, however, be free to explore areas of the Zoo outside of the designated ceremony space, i.e. the African Elephant Exhibit.
