FAQs

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP by Tuesday, March 3 2026.

Question

Can I bring a guest?

Answer

We are having a small, intimate wedding and want to celebrate with the people who know us best. Because of this, we are only able to accommodate those formally invited. If you received a plus one, it will be addressed on your invitation and RSVP section on the website.

Question

Are children welcome?

Answer

We absolutely love children and are so happy to celebrate with the little ones who are included in the invitation. While we wish we could extend the invitation to all our guests' children, we are keeping the celebration more intimate and are only able to accommodate those specifically listed on your invitation.

Question

When should I arrive?

Answer

We kindly ask that guests arrive 30 minutes before the ceremony begins - that way, everyone has time to park, find their seats, and settle in before we say "I do". The ceremony will begin promptly at 1:00 pm, and we want to make sure no one misses a moment.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We would love to see our family and friends dressed up with us! We are requesting semi-formal attire for the evening. For men this means, button down shirts and dress pants with a tie or bow-tie. No jacket/full suit necessary. For women, cocktail dresses, midi dresses or dressy skirts are appropriate. We encourage everyone to dress to impress while keeping in mind the venue's vibe and Iowa Spring weather! We'd love to see our guests in soft, cheerful colors - pastels, and any fresh shades that feel seasonal and light. Think, blush, sage, sky blue, lavender, soft yellows, or anything that gives off that joyful spring vibe. Don't forget the floral prints! But please, no white/ivory dresses or black dresses/shirts.

Question

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

We're asking guests to honor our unplugged ceremony - that means no phones, cameras, or tablets during the ceremony itself. Our photographer will capture everything, and we'll happily share photos with you later. Once the reception begins, feel free to take all the photos & videos your heart desires!

Question

What kind of food will be served?

Answer

We're excited to have a large grazing table for the duration of the reception. The table will include a variety of meats, cheese, nuts, crackers, fruits, vegetables and accompaniments such as dips and relishes. Along with the grazing table there will be a variety of sandwiches and sliders. If you have any dietary restrictions or allergies, please let us know when you RSVP - we'll do our best to accommodate you!

Question

Is there an open bar?

Answer

Our wedding will be dry - meaning no alcoholic beverages are served or consumed during the celebration. However, there will be an open bar available throughout cocktail hour and the reception offering a variety of mocktails and Coke products for guests to enjoy.

Question

Is parking available on site?

Answer

Yes, parking is available and free! The venue has a parking lot of their own that guests can keep their vehicles overnight until 11:00 AM the next day if needed.
