Is it safe given the recent events in MX?

We know many of you may have seen news about the recent events in Mexico. We want you to know that we are staying in close communication with our wedding planner (who lives locally in PV) and our venue team, as well as actively monitoring the US Dept. of State travel advisories. Your safety means everything to us, and we will keep everyone informed should anything change. We truly appreciate your support and flexibility as we navigate this together. **A note from our wedding planner** At this time, the situation has stabilized and the city is returning to normal operations. Hotels, restaurants, event venues, and tourism services are open and functioning as usual. Local authorities have reinforced security measures throughout the region, and daily activities have resumed calmly. We understand that news coverage can cause concern, especially when traveling for such an important celebration. Please know that your safety and peace of mind are our highest priority. Our team remains in close communication with local partners and authorities to ensure that all events move forward smoothly and safely. Puerto Vallarta continues to be a welcoming and resilient destination, and we look forward to celebrating together very soon.

When should I RSVP by?

Please RSVP no later than January 10, 2026. Don't forget to make sure you have an updated passport!

When should guests arrive in Mexico?

Answer

We are recommending that guests arrive Thursday, April 23 in order to enjoy all the planned events and a long weekend with the bride and groom. If you are unable to arrive until Friday, April 24, please be sure to RSVP if you will be arriving in time for the sunset cruise on Friday night.

Are children welcome?

Answer

We love your kids but the wedding (and all events) will be an adults-only celebration unless otherwise specified. We want our wedding to be your weekend off!

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

Yes! We are asking all guests to stay at Garza Blanca Resort & Spa. Please see the Hotel + Travel page for a link to our room block.

Question

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

Yes! Please use the resort trolleys to arrive at TierraLuna Gardens for our wedding ceremony. They run every 15 mins but please allow for extra time to get to the ceremony by 6:00p. Sprinter vans will be picking up all wedding guests after cocktail hour and dropping off at our reception. Depending on when you hang up your dancing shoes, you're welcome to take the resort trolleys or walk back to your tower.
