Some of the best friendships are the ones where you don't like each other at first. Lauren and Brynn first met at Dolce Lusso Salon, where Brynn was Lauren's assistant. For whatever reason, the two did not get along on the days they were paired with each other. One day Brynn worked up the courage to ask Lauren to cut her hair (she was the most talented stylist in the salon after all) and soon after that it just clicked for them. Lauren has played a huge role in Brynn's career as her mentor and as one of her closest friends. Even their fur babies are best friends!

Since they were little, Lauren and Brynn have always been inseparable - whether at each other's throats, or just couldn't get enough time with one another. The best part about having a sister is that you will always have a best friend. No matter what city either of them lived in, they always made a point to talk to each other or send silly memes every single day. Lauren has always been a big supporter of Brynn's hair career - even when she just started and couldn't properly do a blowout 😝

Justin and Brynn can best be described as two peas in a pod. They have been goofing around and getting into trouble for as long as they can remember. The greatest lesson Justin has taught Brynn over the years was how to be the best, and to always be a winner. This was drilled into them at an early age by rigorous matches of Mario Party and Super Smash Brothers. Even though some games ended with a controller being thrown at someone's head, the lesson was priceless. Justin has always supported Brynn through her toughest times and always gave her the push she needed to be a winner.

Michele has fully lived up to her Momma Bear title - fearless, protective, loving, she encompasses everything every mom should strive to be. Brynn and Michele butted heads throughout their lives more times than they care to admit, but they wouldn't change anything about their relationship. Michele continues to be one of Brynn's biggest supporters, pushing her and challenging her to always be her best. Brynn is after all, her "mini-me"!

Beth and Brynn met through mutual friends when they worked at Flywheel and knew right off the bat, that they were going to be besties. Beth introduced Brynn to group fitness - if it weren't for Beth, Brynn wouldn't be where she is today and have gotten to meet so many icons in the fitness industry. Aside from bonding at the barre, Brynn and Beth also bonded in other non-traditional ways, like kicking in Beth's apartment door after losing her keys and taking one too many tequila shots on Cinco De Mayo. Even after Beth moved to New York, she still makes a point to exclusively see Brynn to get her hair done and catch up.

Abbey and Brynn met at the sweetest secret in town, Crave Dessert Bar. Often mistaken for one another because of their height and identical hair color, they instantly clicked and became best friends during their shifts. Abbey was one of the few people Brynn confided in when her and Evan started dating at Crave. Like any good friend would, she kept the secret under wraps so they could stay together. Abbey started seeing Brynn to get her hair done and they stayed connected through their hair appointments and girls nights out after they all stopped working at Crave. Over the years, Abbey has always been the one to set up fitness dates and trips, and has become one of Brynn's closest friends.

James and Cameron first met when playing a church event at UNCC. From then it was just a matter of time before he became one of his closest friends, through playing music together and a genuine love of people, DND, and the despise of scary movies.

Trevor and James first met when playing one of their favorite games together, DND. Trevor and James have had many adventures both through the mystic worlds of Phandelver to beers and fried bologna sandwiches at Lucky Lous. Many pool parties and group outings continued to forge the friendship that they share today.
Michael Van Blarcom

Mike and James met through one of James' old roommates and eventually began hanging out on both the soccer field, at one of their favorite coffee shops, Hex Coffee, and screaming at the wrestlers at professional wrestling matches. From screaming FYFOIKYF or WOOOOOOOO to each other at matches, DND, Karaoke, and loudly singing Nick Jonas with his wife Eva, they have continued to grow together as friends.

Yair and James currently work together at Sunbelt Rentals. Through a rocky start on how they felt about each other, they became "workplace proximity associates" (close friends) over many video shoots and countless hours of travel together. Their humor through dark jokes, the many happenings of funny things that happen around the office and on shoots, and their love for video games bonded them to be the close friends they are now.

Brynn and James met Marcus and Emily on vacation in Mexico last summer and quickly bonded over Apple Watches and their favorite drinks. We quickly became "vacation friends" and started planning our next trip to Jamaica this year. Marcus and his wife live in Greensboro and always make an effort to drive down to have dinner with Brynn and James every month. It's rare to find friends that you can just click with instantly and never have an awkward moment between them. Marcus is a one of kind and James is so lucky to have him stand by his side on his wedding day!
