What time should I arrive to the venue for the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony begins officially at 5:30. Guests are expected to arrive at least 30 minutes before the ceremony begins.

Who is invited to the rehearsal dinner?

Answer

The rehearsal dinner is invite-only for those in the wedding party or those responsible for wedding tasks.

Will there be refreshments at the ceremony?

Answer

Cold water will be provided at the venue. Alcohol is prohibited at the ceremony venue. There will be plenty at the reception.

What will the weather be like during the wedding?

Answer

The wedding is in June, so it will be hot and humid. Thankfully both the ceremony and reception venues are on the water, so hopefully, the ocean breeze will cool it down. We recommend something cool and loose-fitting.

What do I do between the ceremony and the reception?

Answer

The drive from the ceremony (Jupiter) to the reception (Jensen Beach) is around half an hour. Once the ceremony is over, the bride and groom will take photos at the lighthouse for around an hour. We recommend carpooling to the reception if possible, as there is limited parking at the house.

Does your wedding have a theme?

Answer

Not necessarily, we are more married to the color scheme than a theme. If we had to describe it, we'd say bohemian.

What should I do if I can't make it?

Answer

You will be sincerely missed! If you cannot attend, please select "no" on the RSVP as soon as possible.

Where do I park at each venue?

Answer

For the ceremony, there is a lot directly in front of the venue with free parking. Parking will not be an issue here. For the reception, remember that we are at a house in a residential neighborhood, so parking will be limited. If you can carpool from the ceremony to the reception, please do.

What about children/plus ones?

Answer

Due to the limited capacity of the small venue, only guests listed by name on the invitation are invited. Also, while we love your little ones, our wedding is going to be an adults-only event so that everyone can relax and enjoy the evening.

Are the venues wheelchair friendly?

Answer

Yes! There will be a golfcart running from the parking lot to the ceremony at Jupiter lighthouse, and from the car to the house at the reception.

What kind of food will be at the reception?

Answer

We are catering Fujiyama (hibachi-style Japanese), and will also have a 'grazing table' with small snacks.

Will there be any vegan/vegetarian/gluten free/allergen options?

Answer

The grazing table will have small snacks that are vegan/vegetarian/gluten free, but if you have specific allergies, please bring something that you know you can eat.

Will transportation be provided to and from the hotel?

Answer

No, please plan for transportation accordingly.

Can I take/post pictures of/from your wedding?

Answer

Sure! Although we do ask that you try and keep technology to a minimum. We'd rather see your smiling face than the top of your head. Also, please remember, we will have a photographer/Polaroids at the ceremony and reception. If you'd like to take photos, we ask that you remain aware of the photographer and that you use the provided polaroids.

Do I need money for a cash bar?

Answer

Drinks will be complementary at the reception. The bride and groom will have specialty cocktails, and there will also be a bar that contains basic wine, beer, and the main liquors.

Can I purchase a gift outside of the registry?

Answer

Sure! The registry was just our way of showing people what we don't already have/will likely need as we move into our new house. If you want to know if we already have what you're thinking of getting, just shoot us a text and we will let you know.
