Our story began in sixth grade. While we don’t remember the exact moment we met, our paths often crossed through mutual friends. By seventh grade, we grew closer thanks to sharing all four main classes (and sitting next to each other since seating charts went by last name). Fun fact: Brynn even played matchmaker and set Carter up with one of her best friends! As the years went on, life got busy with friends, sports, and everything in between. Despite the busyness, our lives kept overlapping at events, sports games, or just in passing. By Spring of 2019, our friendship found its way back. What started as catching up turned into long conversations, shared laughs, and eventually, the realization that something deeper was there. We started dating on September 20, 2019, and spent much time golfing, attending sporting events, finding new trails and waterfalls to explore, and making the most of every adventure together. Over the years, our relationship grew stronger as we celebrated many milestones such as: getting our driver's licenses, celebrating birthdays/anniversaries, applying for colleges, studying abroad, going on vacations, buying a home, and starting our careers. Through this, we have supported each other through challenges and built a life filled with laughter, love, and a lot of golf swings. After many wonderful years together, Carter proposed at our home golf course: the place where so many of our favorite memories have been made. This took Brynn by complete surprise. She expected it to be the average Saturday where we played golf with our families. One of the first things she said after the proposal was: "Wait, can we keep golfing? I am playing so good today". It was the perfect, full-circle moment that marked the start of our next adventure together.
