Wedding Party

Meet the life of the party!

Sydney Power

Maid of Honor

What can I say that describes the love I have for Sydney Power? Sydney and I met at The University of Kansas and soon became "sisters" thanks to Chi Omega. After our time spent in the sorority house together we got our first college apartment and had a year full of belly laughing, wine, pajama nights, and of course the occasional night out in Lawrence, Kansas. Sydney and I also had the opportunity to live abroad in Trieste, Italy while continuing to study medicine and nursing. Though Sydney and I have lived in separate cities for almost four years now, our bond has only strengthened! Here's to the sister I have always wanted! In our own words, "Blood Sisters."

Caroline Lincoln

Bridesmaid

When Hayden first brought Caroline to meet our family I was instantly in love with her. Caroline absolutely fills every room she walks into with light and love. Caroline is one of the kindest and most fun individuals I have ever met. Caroline and I have created some special memories from birthday nights and margaritas to being stranded in Vail due to a colossal snow storm. Caroline never lets a fun time get away from her!

Alyssa Jones

Bridesmaid

Alyssa and I became friends through our college boyfriends, Nathan and Jacob. Nathan and Jacob were roommates through college and this gave Alyssa and I plenty of time to build a deep friendship. We spent many hours in boy college houses together. When Alyssa and I are together my face actually begins to hurt from laughing and smiling so much. Alyssa is a down-to-earth, Jesus-loving, country gal and I am so blessed to call her my friend. Alyssa and Nathan recently were married and Jacob and I had the honor of standing next to them while they said, "I do". Now it's time for me to become a Loon and I cannot wait for all the adventures ahead for the Jones and Loon families.

Paige Posson

Bridesmaid

I have known Paige since seventh grade and we attended all of high school together. Paige then went to Kansas State University and I went to the University of Kansas (ROCK CHALK). After college both Paige and I unknowingly lived in the same apartment building in downtown Kansas City, Missouri. One of our mutual friends brought it to our attention the we were literally living ten floors away from one another. After Paige and I discovered our living proximity we soon became inseparable. From watching Bears and Chiefs games to the bachelor, late night trips to Betty Rays (the best ice cream shop), and runs through downtown Paige became such a blessing and steadfast friend in my life. My memories of Kansas City are so fond because of the friendship Paige and I created.

Hailey Belcher

Bridesmaid

When I think of Hailey I am not even sure of how we became such close friends. I feel like I have simply known Hailey my entire life. Hailey and I have been friends since freshman year of college. We met through multiple mutual friends and slowly began to build our own bond. Hailey and I both find each other hilarious. We could do nothing all day and crack ourselves up for hours. Hailey thanks for always being down for a pedicure, an adventure, and good concerts!

Jen Mahr

Bridesmaid

Jen and I have been friends since college. We became close when we spent a summer together living in Lawrence, KS. Jen and I both worked at the local country club. Jen was the pool manager and I was one of her life guards. I can remember sitting at the lunch table in our sorority listening to Jen talk about how she was working on hiring life guards for her summer job. I looked at Jen and said, "Can I wear a two piece?" Jen agreed and I was hired on the spot. With Jen life is always an adventure. Jen and I spontaneously bought tickets to Hawaii for our senior spring break and had the time of our lives. Jen is genuine, full of live, laughter, and love.

Jonathan Loon

Best Man

I have always been so proud to be Jonathan's older brother. Jonathan and I have gotten into a lot of mischief over the years. One specific memory that simply infuriates my father is when Jonathan and I used the house Christmas lights as target practice for our new air-soft guns. We shot down light by light hearing a satisfying "pop" after each successful shot. We made it through the whole strand eliminating all lights on the house. Little to say we never did that again. As we matured we grew much closer, and Jonathan has become my closest friend. We have experienced a lot together! Some of my favorite times together are when we would play golf. I would try to beat him in any golf game I could think of, yet he beat me literally every time. My brother is the best friend I could ask for!

Hayden Orndorff

Groomsman

Hayden and I first met at the Red Rock Canyon Grill in Wichita, KS over seven years ago on one of my first dinners with the Orndorff family. Since then we have gotten to know each other very well over the years. We have shared many adventures and memories together. One of the best memories I have with Hayden was skiing a powder day at Vail. It snowed so much all the roads were closed, so we ended up having to stay the night. Due to the weather many cars were spinning off the road, this made Hayden furious to the point of stating "If you can't drive in the snow, you should be thrown in jail!" There is never a dull moment with Hayden Orndorff, can’t wait for him to be my brother-in-law!

Nathan Jones

Groomsman

Nathan and I met at The University of Kansas. One of the first memories I have with Nathan comes from when we were pledging the same fraternity. We were competing in a triathlon across the campus. We had to swim through the most disgusting pond in February. I kid you not Nathan was the first one to jump into the near freezing, murky, and muddy water in his boxers like it was nothing. In fact I even think he enjoyed it!

Caleb Kolbeck

Groomsman

Caleb has been one of my closest friends since the beginning of high school. I can remember making the best memories playing high school football with Caleb. One time I made an interception and Caleb was so happy for me he made a B-line across the football field to give me a hug. To this day he continues to be one of the most supportive people I know. More recently, Caleb and I have been roommates the past two years in Denver, and these have been some of the best times of my life. We have gone camping together despite the fact we both have a fear of being attacked by a bear! Caleb is one of the most loyal guys out there, and I am glad to be able to call him a close friend!

Brian Russell

Groomsman

Brian and I met more recently in Denver through our church. Brian and I hit it off pretty immediately due to our shared faith and love of skiing. Brian is the best skier I know, and I am constantly trying to keep up with him on the mountain. One day, I was trying a bit too hard to keep up with Brian's skill on then mountain and I completely wiped out, both skies came flying off my feet and my face met the ground with a strong force. Though there was blood and a bruised ego, Brian offered me a granola bar and texted Brynley letting her know I, in fact, did not need to come to the ER to be one of her patients. Brian is a great role model for me in his faith and marriage. I cherish the friendship we have, and I look forward to making more memories together.

Corbin Rasmussen

Groomsman

Corbin and I have been friends since birth basically. We grew up in the same church in Wichita, KS and stayed close throughout high school and college. I have a lot of great memories with Corbin, but one of the best comes from the summers when we worked together in hot gymnasiums installing bleachers. Now the funny part comes from how we got to work. So imagine me on the back of the motorcycle with Corbin driving. I am not a small guy, and I was holding on to him for dear life. I am lucky to call him a close friend!
