What will the weather be like?

Answer

Temperatures will range from low of 40 degrees to high of 60 degrees. It will range from sunny to gloomy, some rain and occassional winds. It will in general vary so bring a mix of jackets, pants, long sleeves, short sleeves and shorts ( if you dont get cold too easily).

Do i have to stay at the castle?

Answer

No. There are other hotels around the area ( from 20-35 mins away).

What Airline and airport do we choose?

Answer

Book through Aer Lingus and arrive at the Dublin airport if youre able to(mainly California guests) . Not all states have Aer Lingus at their airport, so just book the best route you can that takes you to Dublin airport.

How do we get to the castle?

Answer

You may rent a car ( will require insurance through them there), take a taxi or( if enough people fly in on the same day/time) we will hire a bus. additional details will be provided closer to the wedding date.

Do i need a passport?

Answer

YES!!! make sure its up to date and not expired ASAP since it can take up to 6 months to get your new passport.

When should i arrive?

Answer

We recommend arriving in Ireland at least 2-3 days before the wedding to allow time to settle and recover from jet lag.

Should i exchange cash before the flight?

Answer

If youd like, youre welcome to change your dollars to euros beforehand but most cards automatically apply an exchange rate and cash isnt used too too often their. You can always exchange it when over there as well to have some cash on you.

Will my phone work in Ireland?

Answer

Most carriers offer an international plan. Check with your provider. Wi-fi will be available at the Castle and most accommodations.

Will my charger and wall plugged items work out there?

Answer

Not unless you have the correct plug. Ireland uses a Type G outlets. A travel adaptor is recommended for anything you will use that plugs into the wall.

Are there things to do nearby?

Answer

YES!! So very much! on the grounds alone theres; archery, horseback riding, walking trails, fairy trails, and whiskey tasting. We will share a list of nearby recommendations closer to the wedding.
